I do that in my own house. My mom doesn’t even take constructive criticism well. If we don’t like the way someone is prepared she’ll say “next time you make it the way you like it.” Or when she randomly decided to add Manwich to her bolognese sauce she said “well I enjoyed it”. Which she often says when we don’t like something.
